Our dear friends are one son shy of a basketball team. So imagine their mother’s delight when they discovered they’re expecting a girl this spring! With a little girl already in tow, I’ve taken it upon myself to introduce her to all things tea parties, princesses and pink.
When a baby girl enters the world it’s as if all the storks unite and sprinkle pink confetti everywhere she goes. Pink jammies, pink blankets, pink bows and so on and so forth.
If one color is going to have such a strong presence – I’m a big fan of toning it down a bit: hence, my love for blush. I absolutely adore this gorgeous, subtle shade – whether for a nursery or a springtime outfit – it’s the perfect mix of playful and feminine.

First up, outfits for mom. After five pregnancies, I’m sure she’ll be excited to spoil herself with some new additions to her wardrobe. I absolutely love these casual looks below. And you can take advantage of that green jacket we talked about last week and throw it over a blush dress or pair with a blush skirt. It’s unexpected and stylish – two things mothers should allow themselves to be every now and then!

And don’t forget the gorgeous floral maxi we talked about last month. The perfect combo of the floral and blush trends.

I know I’m not telling my mom friend anything new when I suggest heading to Carter’s to score similar looks. But, I will suggest first picking up a Tanger Outlets Coupon book to save yourself some money. Simply pop over to TangerOutlets.com and purchase the one for the center closest to you!
Now, let’s all swoon over some of my favorite blush-worthy nurseries. These definitely suit the tiniest of princesses!

And finally, I know this post was all about the ladies. But how cute is this little peanut in his blush polo? I love it!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
