Being the social event go-er that I am, I cannot wait for some of my spring festivities to start. Like the kickball team that my friends and I joined last summer. I know I know, you’re probably laughing, but hitting our latest happy hour find beforehand leads to a “ball” of fun for everyone, trust me. I would have to say though, there’s one thing that I love most about spring time… music festivals! I mean a day spent outside with your besties, yummy food and cool tunes, what could be better? And let’s be real, I love any chance to pull out my favorite boho chic pieces in my closet. I thought I would share some of the inspo I’ve been finding lately that will have you stealing the show!
I’m not sure how anyone can say they don’t have a favorite pair of jean shorts, it’s just not possible. What I love is that you can find them in different shades, lengths, washes, you name it – or just make your own! I’ve had a favorite pair of mine since college. Denim shorts are just the thing for a music festival (those pockets are a lifesaver) and simple enough so you can add in more elaborate festival trends to spice things up a bit. I’ve seen similar looks at PacSun and American Eagle Outfitters at Tanger Outlets. Here are a few more pieces I’ll be on the lookout for to play up my jean shorts game…
Okay… those boots! I am obsessed. And I love this dainty evil eye necklace set with the long tassel. Keep an “eye” out for accessories like these when you’re shopping. Claire’s is great for pieces like this!
I also found this flowy, white dress and I can’t stop daydreaming about it. For me, I know I want to stay as cool as I can at these outdoor events and this seems like a great pick. I always find boho-chic picks like this one at Lucky Brand and with such great prices, I have room to splurge a little on a few new accessories – like this adorable bag that would look so cool with it!
Uhh, swoon. The turquoise beading is to die for. I think I would use this all year-round, honestly. Music festivals turn into long days, so make sure you have enough space in your bag for everything you will need (granola snacks are my saving grace for times like these).
So where are you headed next?! Bonnaroo? Shaky Knees? Hangout? Gosh, I am so excited to see them all gearing up, there are so many options! I hope my festival faves help you prep for music season! I’m checking my calendar now for a day trip to Tanger. Maybe I’ll see you there. 🙂 Please share your pics with me – can’t wait to see how much fun you’re having and what you’re wearing at your next concert!
