I finally got my taxes done last week (I know, a little last minute here) and I am so excited to get my return! I am going to save some of it, of course… but I’ve also decided to join my family for a much-needed vacation in a few weeks! We are going to relax on the beach, work on our tans and sip on umbrella drinks all week long.
I’m heading to the outlets this weekend to find a new bathing suit for the trip and use my TangerStyle coupons since they expire this weekend… this is not a drill!
Side note: Have you gotten yours yet? They are good for 20% off one item at a bunch of my fave stores. You can find them here.
I have had my heart set on finding a solid one piece suit for the season ever since I saw this celeb beach sighting of Blake Lively in her fancy black number a while back. How cute is she! Surely, I can mimic this look, right?! I was planning my shopping trip and found this great J.Crew suit online marked down to $50.50, from $85!

My sister also gave me this fun kimono with fringe at the bottom for my birthday. I think it’ll look really cute with my new suit! I love it when I can purchase only one new item to make new looks from pieces I already have in my closet – thanks, sis! I mean, $50 for an entirely new beach look? Yes, please!

Bathing suits are totally vital to try on in the store, so I am so excited to head over and find my match. Fingers crossed the black one works. We all know bathing suit shopping can be a little tricky, but luckily there are plenty of options at Tanger – for all shapes and sizes!
The ladies in my fam have a little deal with my dad. Any time we go on vacation, Dad takes an afternoon to work on his golf game and we take the afternoon to work on our wardrobes. Luckily, there is a Tanger Outlets within miles of our hotel and naturally, I have already scouted some stores that I am going to stop by. I love shopping when I travel because I get to bring back pieces that my friends are going to swoon over, for the prices that I am looking to spend.
I have set aside $200 of my refund for my treat yo’self shopping spree and if I stay on track, I will still have some to spend after my $50 “splurge” on my new suit. I’m going to look for a few summer staples, like the ones in this outfit below. Hello, gorgeous fringe bag! I must still be on the black trend kick, with a touch of boho. I love the hat too!
