“Cause it’s ladies night, oh what a night!”
Guys, I’m so excited. After weeks and weeks of back and forth planning and busy schedules, my girlfriends and I have finally nailed down a date for our Girls Night In. It’s this weekend and I can hardly stand it! We thought staying in would be a nice change of pace. Going out can be crowded, noisy and a little pricey when you add up dinner, drinks and everything in between. I wanted to share the timeline I’ve come up with as inspiration for your next “Girls Night In.”
8:00 PM: Besties Arrive
Finally! I’ll probably have some of our favorite 90’s music playing in the living room when they come in just to get the mood going. Any suggestions? I’m thinking some classic Whitney Houston or Brittney Spears. Talk about a throwback.
8:30 PM: Nail Time
This may have to be my favorite part of the night. While we all love getting pampered at the nail salon, the cost can add up over time. I thought it would be fun if everyone brings a color of their choice and we all pick for each other. I’m suggesting bright colors to maybe mix and match it up some for spring. I’m in awe of this handy helper, isn’t that genius? I’ve seen them at Claire’s and Icing.

9:00 PM: Pop the Cork!
If I’m being completely honest, this might happen a little sooner. I just didn’t want to risk any nail mishaps. You can’t have a party without wine and snacks – I mean be serious. I’m counting on my friends to bring their own drink of choice but I said I would cover the snacks and munchies. Hello cheese plate! It’s the trendiest at-home snack if you ask me. But don’t overdo it. Just some simple cheese spreads, bright fruits and thin crackers will be perfect. I picked up a super similar, gorgeous cheese board at Williams-Sonoma Outlet the last time I was at Tanger. Obvi, I knew it would come in handy.

9:30 PM: Movie Pick
Whatever we choose HAS to be funny. Although a good dose of The Notebook can cure almost anything, I want to keep the night lighthearted. It will probably take us forever to decide on one. I’ll have to jump on Netflix to pick out some options they can choose from. Thinking of all my besties piling up in my living room is making me want to invest in some new trendy/comfy decor. I have to impress! I love the printed pillows and throws against the soft white curtains and lighting in this photo. Ugh, goals! Pottery Barn Outlet – I’m coming for you!

Phew, what a night. If it is anything like I’ve planned, it will be one we won’t forget. I should probably run – this weekend will be here before I know it and I want to make sure I have everything in place for GNI! I hope my stay-at-home inspo has put you in the spirit to plan your own soon. If you need any help, you know where to find me! Tweet @tangeroutlets using #TangerMillennial.

I love everything. This reminds me of my sisters and I having our annual Christmas Tea. The memories and fun we’ve shared will be with me forever.
Hi Hollie – That’s so great to hear. I certainly cherish my girl time and creating memories that will last a lifetime! I hope you’ve enjoyed the blog!
