If you weren’t aware that Sunday is Father’s Day, don’t panic. I’m here to remind you and give you some fun tips on gifts for Dad. If you haven’t gotten anything or are planning to shop in the next few days, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s a few special memories I have with my dad and a few gift ideas to go along with them.
First things first – Dad is all about thoughtfulness – I consider myself “daddy’s girl” and here’s why. I see movies with him that no one else wants to, go for bike rides and am always down to get BBQ (his favorite). On our last bike ride, I noticed his tennis shoes were seriously overworn, so I picked up these from the Nike Factory Store at Tanger Outlets. They were only $79.99, compared to the typical $120+ Nikes and he can wear them on our bike rides!
He’s always wanted me to go fishing with him – and I think this is the year I’m finally giving in. There’s something to be said for quality time with dad. Since I’m not an expert, I’d love your opinion – do you like this fishing vest I found online at Bass Factory? I’m hoping to find one just like it at Tanger and I’m going to leave a little note in the pocket to schedule a fishing trip for us. I know he’ll appreciate that!
Now, it wouldn’t be Father’s Day without some laughing and Dad’s favorite Peach cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream.
Since I’m trying to craft the ultimate gift, I’ve decided some of that gift is going to be food (the way to his heart). My mom and I are hitting the kitchen this weekend to whip this up. Doesn’t this look delicious?! What’s your dad’s favorite food? Whatever it is, cooking is a thoughtful gift that everyone can enjoy.
I can’t wait to give dad these gifts! It’s seriously one of my favorite things about Tanger – there are stores and gifts and brands for everyone and everything. Let me know which one is your fave. It’s always nice getting to show how thankful I am to have such a great Dad!
Happy Father’s Day everyone!
