I was going through my calendar at work and realized from here on out, there’s something on my agenda every weekend until the end of the year. With baby showers, alumni events and work projects, my fall season is quite booked. This makes planning ahead for my wardrobe and wallet all the more important.
Savers, you might remember me saying that owning the right base pieces isn’t just about looking great, it’s also about saving money in the long run by investing in quality pieces that last. I plan on these fall staples lasting me all season – and hopefully into the next! I love transitional pieces – like this classic, yet clean dress from Banana Republic Factory Store. #swoon

I can dress it up or down with these tan, suede booties, or a pair of sophisticated heels. (Maybe I’ll even try that green color I blogged about a few weeks ago!) Cole Haan outlet has all the fashionable footwear I need. Believe it or not, it’s seriously a goldmine. I mean look at these little nuggets! Although a little more expensive than what I would normally go for, I’ve learned the hard way that shoes are one thing to invest more in…Take a lesson from my blisters. Your feet will thank me later.
Cole Haan Outlet | $140
I also know I’ll be able to incorporate this heather grey cashmere sweater from Saks OFF Fifth into my outfit for just about everything (It will even compliment the sweatpants and robe I’ve been living in on weekends trying to play catch up.) A timeless piece that’s a necessity for the cooler weather, and it was 60% OFF. I’m kind of a cardigan hoarder and this is the perfect addition to my collection.
