Double double toil and trouble…Halloween is finally here!
Ok mommas, how many of you have waited until the last minute to plan your family’s costumes?
Well, fret not because I’m here with some brilliantly simple Halloween costume ideas for the whole family.
Some of them you can even pull together tonight!
Easy DIY Cardboard Box Costumes
You KNOW you have at least three of these laying around at any given time. Put your online shopping habit to good use and make your littles a cool costume with the shipping boxes.
Here are a few ideas to inspire you!
Just the Basics
Repurpose clothing that you already have and simply add some flair…like this baby devil.
Pick an all red outfit from their closet, add a cute set of devil horns (found at almost any store that stocks Halloween supplies) and you’re done!
Don’t Forget the Bump!
These are some of the most clever, creative ideas ever. Totally adorable!
Bonus points if you can talk your hubby into playing along like these soon to be moms did!
Just Buy It
For all you mommas that may not be able to list “crafty” as a skillset or simply just don’t have the time to custom make costumes this year (totally understandable)…give yourself a pass and just buy a costume.
Quick, cute and easy! Like this hipster skeleton or punky pirate from H&M at Tanger.
If you have little ones, Carter’s also has some great costume deals.
If your trick-or-treaters are still small, like mine, they’re not going to be able to walk for long without tiring out. Decorate your wagon or stroller as part of the overall costume so that the littles can be comfy and you have your hands free (or at least available for an adult beverage).
These ideas are SURE to win first prize at your neighborhood Halloween parade!
Ok, ok. The Jurassic Park idea MAY NOT be the simplest idea, but it’s so cute I couldn’t resist. Idea and photo credit goes to City to South.

Happy Halloween to you and your spooky littles!
