Beach weekends (and we might be biased) are the best. Salt in your hair, sand in-between your toes and the sun above your head. Sounds like paradise right? These types of weekends you don’t need much. From J.CREW FACTORY just throw in a versatile linen shirt, a scarf that can be used as a coverup or for dressing up your outfit for a nice seafood dinner, a pair of espadrilles for walking on and off the beach, a plain black swimsuit you can wear for multiple days and a floppy beach hat to give you that shade if needed. Also don’t forget to pack your largest cooler full of your favorite beverages!
1. V-NECK T-SHIRT DRESS IN SLUB $18.99 // 2. LACE-UP SNEAKERS $31.99 3. FAVORITE BOATNECK T-SHIRT $12.99 // 4. MID RISE DESTRUCTED SEXY BOYFRIEND FIT JEANS $41.99 |
Sometimes it’s nice to escape your everyday city life and go check out somebody else’s. With so many things to do and see, you better pack shoes that are comfortable but that don’t scream ‘tourist.’ From GAP FACTORY we’d recommend throwing in white tennis shoes that you can pair with shorts in the day and a simple dress at night to wear to your reservations your made weeks ago, and a plain white tee to pair up with some boyfriend jeans. Please don’t actually take your boyfriend’s jeans though, he many need them while you’re gone.
The best thing about weekend trips is that it doesn’t have to be anything elaborate. Plan it with your friends, or your significant other, or even your family! Whatever you decide, we know it’ll be great to rejuvenate before the week starts back up again.
